Firebugs (Level 1)~ 8 to 24 weeks old
These flexible and budget friendly 4, 6 or 8-week sessions offer the vital components needed to raise a happy, healthy, and well-adjusted dog. My basic foundational program addresses various elements such as environmental exposure, socialization, handling, nutrition, enrichment games & activities, watch me, leave it, recall, sit & stay, loose leash walking and much more while forming a solid human/canine bond.
The core principles included in these sessions are essential for a puppy's development, enabling them to feel comfortable around various people, animals, environments, and experiences while learning to recognize and respond to your cues. These essentials form the basis for good behaviour and can be expanded upon as your puppy grows. You will learn to utilize consistent and positive reinforcement techniques such as praise and valuable rewards, serving as effective tools to encourage learning and collaboration.

Mini Manners ~ 8 to 16 weeks old
Specially designed group classes for toy and small breed puppies. These sessions run out of our Princeton facility for 4 weeks. Offering positive and confidence building engagement, you will learn all about housebreaking, the benefits of crate training, introduction to the leash and building on all the cues and techniques offered in our Firebugs sessions.

Custom Sessions ~ up to 24 weeks old
Are you feeling frustrated or ready to throw in the towel? I recognize that a hectic lifestyle shouldn't hinder you from enjoying precious moments with your new puppy. While you attend to your other responsibilities, I will work closely with your puppy to lay the necessary groundwork. Addressing all the essentials highlighted in Firebugs, I will focus on structure, house manners, exposure and you will gain a pup who comprehends the importance of making good choices—crucial for future success. This convenient package enables you to balance your personal schedule while ensuring that your puppy experiences consistent interaction through play and learning right in the comfort of your own home.

The SOCIAL BARK ~ up to 16 weeks old
Did you know that the most vital socialization phase for puppies begins at just 3 weeks old? During this time, they learn to interact through their mother and siblings until they’re ready to leave the litter. Between this age and 14 weeks old, a puppy’s exposure to new people, new dogs and new environments will almost always determine how confident they will be for the rest of their lives. This is the only window of opportunity to get it right the first time and therefore, I am happy to be guiding social classes. These classes will combine playtime with informative discussion on developmental stages, fear imprint periods and environmental exposure. Firefly Imprinting ~ 8 to 12 weeks old
I am excited to be offering this service in the Spring of 2026. Firefly Imprinting is a 2-4 week period where your puppy becomes a guest in our home. Imprinting involves gentle exposure to a variety of experiences such as meeting new people, meeting new dogs, meeting other domestic animals, exposure to new sounds, environments and desensitization to everyday things in our world and households. Your puppy will engage in games that teach as well as learn basic mannerisms such as housebreaking, chewing, understanding basic cues, leash introduction and walking in various environments. This unique service allows for training, interaction and exposure 24/7.
As the new puppy owner, your involvement is crucial during the imprinting phase, as it shapes your understanding of the process and the resources provided for your future journey with your puppy once they graduate. You will have regular demonstrations, either in-person or online, to observe your puppy’s progress. Throughout the imprinting period, your puppy will return home to you on weekends, allowing you to practice and establish a routine. These weekends will serve as a wonderful opportunity to bond with your puppy and address any questions or concerns you may have along the way.
